My First Marvelous Monday

Happy Marvelous Monday to you all! This is my first MM post, so here are the things that are rocking my Monday.
2. Lululemon’s Run: Shorty Shorts are my new favorite running shorts. I picked them up a few weeks ago in Milwaukee’s Third Ward on the clearance rack for $44! Mine are all black. What I love about these shorts is that they don’t ride up, there are tons of pockets and those grippy things on the side are actually functional – they keep your top from riding up.

3. Avery first introduced me to Tweezerman’s Ingrown Hair Splintertweeze. I’ve been tweezing since I was 12, so I appreciate a good pair of tweezers. Simply put, these will be your new favorite pair. You can grab shorter hairs easily. Just don’t stab yourself. These babies are sharp!

4. Duff Goldman’s cake ice cream flavors from the Blue Bunny. I’ve tried the Red Velvet Cake; I Do, I Do Wedding Cake; and the 24 Karat Carrot Cake. Our local Kopp’s Custard carries a Red Velvet Custard that’s amazing. Unfortunately, you can only get it when it’s the flavor of the day. Now I can have cake ice cream whenever I want.

Other than that, I’m really looking forward to having the 4th off. We are watching a local band and then heading to a friend’s house for a BBQ. I’m thinking about brining these Oreo Rice Krispie Treats – there’s easy, not too messy and kids (and adults) love them.

I’ve never tried Lulumon before but those shorts look spectacular! I think they are officially going on my birthday wish list!

Great article and the recipes fit the theme so well. I haven’t read these books yet, but have them on my reading list. I’ve splurged and bought Duff’s red velvet ice cream once before after having the I Do, I Do flavor at my sister’s. I would like to try the carrot cake one too!

I’ve never heard of Marvelous Monday before but I like it!! So far my Monday has been a typical Monday but something that made it marvelous was that I had leftover pancakes and a smoothie for breakfast! And now, I’m stuffed. :D Sounds like you’ve got some fun plans for the 4th! I’m excited to have the day off as well. We’re supposed to go to the pool, but it is looking like it may rain us out so we’ll see!
